A stone’s throw from the town centre and the mediaeval fortress, opposite the TGV train station majestically stands the Hotel de France, over a hundred years old (belonging to the Bouyer family since 1893). Its 55 cosy comfortable rooms, with a refined décor, will offer you calm and serenity after a hard day of work or leisure. We believe you will appreciate our function rooms, ideal for organising your seminars or special occasions, before moving on to discover Angers’s gastronomy in our restaurant The Plantagenêts. The restaurant’s young but talented chef Antoine Bouyer, a member of the Restaurateur de Métier Association, will offer you country and seasonal cooking that marry wonderfully with his selection of carefully chosen wines.

The Hotel of France was built in 1893 and has a 3-star classification. The total hotel and restaurant staff numbers 30 people under the management of their director Vincent Bouyer for the hotel, and Antoine, his brother, for the restaurant.
