Bouvet Ladubay, producers of Saumur Brut, look forward to welcoming you to their 8 kilometres (5 miles) of cellars dug into the sandstone in the very heart of the Saumur region in the Loire Valley. Bouvet have won over 130 medals in 25 years and show their savoir-faire in their cellar visits and wine tastings every day throughout the year. Their expertise is also apparent in their 19th century theatre, which has Jean Claude Brialy and Brigitte Fossey as its patrons, and their Arts Centre, founded in 1992, where top names in contemporary art exhibit in an 800 square metre (8,700 square feet) gallery; and also in their tasting school, which is open all year round, and in their function rooms. The house of Bouvet Ladubay, founded in 1851, is directed by Patrice Monmousseau. Weekly closing
