The Isle Briand Parc is at the mouth of the Mayenne and the Oudon rivers and is the horse capital of Anjou. As with all true works of art, the Haras national du Lion d’Angers is in perfect harmony with its natural setting.
First located in Angers town center, it became urgent to look for another bigger place to welcome the stud farm. The maine et Loire Department bought the Domain of L'Isle Briand in the 70s, situated at 30mn northward of Angers, on 160ha. Latest news

We welcome paintings exhitions from April till August. Free entrance, welcome visitors desk.
